My Story

Hello! My name is Shannon. I am the youngest of seven, married, and I have two wonderful dogs!

I eloped with my husband Alec in 2022. When I was planning and looking for a wedding photographer, I realized how important a great photographer is. Weddings and life pass by in the blink of an eye and having someone you trust there to get those important shots and details down is wonderful.

Being a photographer and photographing others on their special days with their special people is something that I love doing as it allows me to capture those important memories and events, for you and for your loved ones.

My father passed away when I was 17 and it was when we were looking for photos of him that I realized I had less than 10 photos with him and most were when I was little. We didn’t have many photos of him in general or anyone else in the family. I was disheartened as this was the only direct connection I had left of him. This, however, started a love and goal to take photos of my nieces and nephews with their parents so that they didn’t have to experience the sadness I did. I wanted to be able to ensure that they would have photos with their parents so that everyone of them could look at the images and remember the joy, the love, and the memories that they made.

Learning how to take beautiful photos for not only my family but others has been an absolute joy! I love exploring Utah, meeting new people, and I love helping them with their vision to create lasting memories!

My mom gave me my dad’s old camera. I about cried as this allows me to feel closer to him.
